I’m just starting to discover these types of wineries while on the hunt for more natural food etc and have bought some things from Kalleske that were nice. I don’t think they’re very good at self promotion but might be worth checking out.
Keep up the great work, your blog is brilliant for a novice like me
Thanks for the kind words Mark! I’m glad someone is finding my writing useful and informative about this particular world of wine. I’ll be sure to check out Kalleske soon! Thank you!
a logo next to the producer clarifying if they are natural, organic, biodynamic or a combination of the three would be useful.
Cracking idea! I should have thought of that… thank you!
Why are you still promoting the 2012 Krinklewood Semillon as being organic/biodynamic? The fruit was sourced from one of the Hunter Valleys biggest petro-chemical wine growers? You know the truth about this wine and many more from this producer, now inform the public about this wineries sales tactics!!!
Thanks for your comment, John. I’ve not yet spoken to Krinklewood about this, but I am aware that some of their wines are made at First Creek, which has only just received organic certification, hence why many past Krinklewood vintages of wines made at First Creek do not exhibit any certification logo. I will follow this up with Krinklewood. As it stands now, in 2014, their property in Broke is, as far as I am aware, 100% certified by ACO, but I will endeavor to look into it further.
